Global Financial Composition

The Global Financial Crisis finally has a symphony.

Local composer and friend of The New Local, Gawain Davey, has completed his symphony commission on the Global Financial Crisis. Titled "Symphony GFC", Davey's work takes the listener through the experience that shook the world's economy.

The symphony was recorded on 17 February 2014 by Orchestre Nouveau, conducted by Zach Tay, and had a March release to coincide with the five year anniversary of the lowest point reached by stock prices during the crisis.
